Coyotes are having the last word, though. They coexist with us better than crows, wolves, or foxes, and I just read that as coyotes come east, they are getting bigger and taking over the wolves' ecological niche.

Weirsdo, I had no idea. The niche out here in the desert is driving beagles crazy.

The only problem with a golden calf is that you cannot eat it.

It is funny that what Coyote was working on from outside for so long was done from inside overnight. I am sure Twyla's heart was bleeding for the horses.

This story ended so fast. Good thing Mule is reading so slowly. Good choice.
