I was suspicious but then I enjoyed it a lot. The three men and their conversation in the cold dawn, the sleeping giant, and then there were those paragraphs I didn't understand but I loved to spend time with Heinrich in the dairy, warm cow bellies and pleased cow necks, the wonderful in January is that everything is behind and everything is ahead. Congratulations, Doug!

"a sleeping man's prayer" - wow, this is beautiful.

(Cannot listen just now, will do that later.)

Ariel, one thing I really miss about farm life is the warmth of a cow's belly on a cold morning. "a sleeping man's prayer" was meant to be funny, but I'll settle.

I am surprised, but not unhappy, to be encountering seemingly new developments.

Hobbes, I am flustered to be encountering new developments. Hopefully it will straighten out before too long.

This slow reading is what Ariel enjoys the best. *curles up with a pillow* Let's ignore the phone!
