To hear my mom read, sit with Hilda Greulich at right.

To read this week's episode, take your seat in the pot.

The story so far is here.

I love the pictures, and your description of the widow.

I can very much imagine the two women in Hilda Greulich's living room, not missing one bit of warm the fire can give, drinking their too sweet tea.

It is embarrassing to realize you decided on someone's personality by their being the enemy of your enemy, and not by what they are. :-P

I'm joining you for a chit-chat, Ariel. I'm a little embarrassed you're here all by yourself. We can watch the New York Yankees win the ALCS.

See, Ariel? Such good luck you bring! Come join me this Wednesday as we enjoy a couple of Nathan's Coney Island hot dogs at the 2009 World Series. Probably no sweet tea, tho ~ maybe a Bud Light?

Ariel, what else is a personality made up of but local enmity?

Karen, that was good of you. Congratulations and I'm glad someone around here will care which team wins the series.

Karen, I wasn't bringing good luck to the New York Yankees, I was bringing bad luck to the ALCS, I work that way only. :) Hot dog and Bud Light sound good, and I am going to bring lemon cake, hope you like it!

Yeah, Doug, that's why Bruce Lee always said to get rid of it. :)

That picture of the widow reminds me of Napoleon, for some reason.
