Hello Doug, I don't know you in person but I saw a post you wrote on the PARCA blog with your tip to CC every E mail from Regional Center to the DSS. I just wanted to say I started doing that as a result and it has helped. I wanted to let you know (if you haven't already heard about it) The California State Auditor is currently wrapping up the survey portion of an audit on all 21 Regional Centers in California. I was lucky enough to have my facility selected as part of the audit survey sample group. This survey was to investigate retaliation on vendors, parents, and caregivers. I don't know if you are still a caregiver but if you are and want to share your stories of Regional Center abuse you can reach the audit contact through phone or E mail. Sean Gill 916-445-0255, or E mail at vendorsurvey@auditor.ca.gov. If you know any other providers that wish to help out please forward that information I would appreciate it.
