I mean, I don't think he will stop remembering but wonder if it will keep him back for long.
Not really. Earning the right to comment is prohibited by the First Amendment.
But I think my point is that the blogosphere is, and should be, an exchange of ideas -- sort of like a "marketplace of ideas".
I know I'm always interested to explore different worlds through other people's eyes. Like, I never would have found Nicole B's website if it hadn't been for her comments on your's and Quilly's blogs.
Anyway, we're going to have to continue this discussion tomorrow. It's almost 2:30 in morning here!
Karen, I agree with you about the internet being a marketplace of ideas, but if it is to be that, it needs a place for people who think the internet is not a marketplace of ideas and, besides, as they do on DiA, the exchange can happen all on one site. Everybody doesn't need their own.
This will or might seem a daft thing to say but hey, I'm British and it goes with the turf BUT...this all reminds me of Dave Sims excellent Cerebus. I mean, it is nothing like it (this is the daft bit) but it has that oddball feel to it. Please do not shoot me for sacrilege.. I have just printed the whole nine yards out onto the works printer. I may be able to leave before midnight judging by how many pages there are.

Ariel, that's a good observation, I don't expect him to be held back.

It's nice to see the quality of commentary on W.A. has improved. Perhaps the marketplace of ideas is growing.
