The Reformation of Wolfshausen

Teil Sechsundsiebzig
To listen, what harm could there possibly be in asking the old feller at right.

Or, you can read this week's episode with Paul and Silas.

The story so far is here.

LOL! That "Not now!" was so full of disappointment. The bastard.

The warden threw a party in the county jail ...

The prison band was there and they began to wail ...

The band was jumpin' and the joint began to swing ...

You should've heard those knocked out jailbirds sing ...

See ya later, alligator.

He's a creep, Ariel. It happens to a fella.

Karen, a Belushi flashback is a better thing now than when he was alive.

Actually, these are the opening lyrics to Jail House Rock by Elvis Presley.

Belushi in the jail at the end of the first Blues Brothers movie, Karen. Unforgettable now that he is dead. :-P

Jake: Oh, please, don't kill us. Please, please don't kill us. You know I love you baby. I wouldn't leave ya. It wasn't my fault.

Mystery Woman: You miserable slug! You think you can talk your way out of this? You betrayed me.

Jake: No I didn't. Honest... I ran out of gas. I, I had a flat tire. I didn't have enough money for cab fare. My tux didn't come back from the cleaners. An old friend came in from out of town. Someone stole my car. There was an earthquake. A terrible flood. Locusts.

IT WASN'T MY FAULT, I SWEAR TO GOD.

Just too funny! My fave was: "Don' kill me, babe, I don't want to lose you!"

Karen, still a Belushi flashback for the reason Ariel gave.

Ariel, exactly.

Karen, that's a great scene, too. I think that might have been the most perfect comedy ever.

More about the album cover I am afraid than your post. What a great album that was and they, or rather Ian Anderson the lead singer of Jethro Tull, horrified my mother when she first saw him on TV as he stood there looking for all the world like a tramp, perched on one leg, a flute in his hand whilst he vigorously scratched himself as though infested with nits!

Marvellous.

C.J., I have my old Aqualung album cover framed and hanging on my wall, to ward off nits.

As a teenager, I saw Jethro Tull at Madison Square Garden. Not Aqualung, though, I think it was the tour after that --A Passion Play (?)

My mistake. It was Thick as a Brick.

Pretty cool, Karen. Were they still good?

k. riggs gardner said...

Yeah. Me and me mates were ultra-cool. Tull was good. So was Led Zepplin. David Bowie, too!
