Very good story, and lovely to hear you. I have to tell you, that last bit, to someone who has attempted audioblogging, only added to the experience, really. Well done!
Indie, I was expecting you to say some kind of backwards message that we had to figure out. That was a fun recount. I loved that you not only kept going after you flubbed, but that you told us you were going to. Very endearing. You sound somehow different than I was envisioning. Er,can one envision sound? Just because I flubbed at the end of this comment doesn't mean I'm going to go all the way back to the beginning and do it over. "Expecting", that's what I meant. :)
Logophile: Thank you for the compliment. This was my first attempt at any type of audio blogging. I never even recorded myself on the computer before. I guess it's those unplanned glitches that make things interesting (more interesting than the planned ones).
Sar: I never give up, not even if I think I'm making a fool of myself. I'm also glad you had fun with this. I sound different than you envision? That's probably a polite way of putting something ;-)
Good to hear you, Indie. It would have been something had when YOU said "here's how sniff" it sounded like Vince's name, but when Vince said it it somehow didn't. You really would have got the crazy looks.
A good audio editor has a Reverse function to digitally flip the track. Now you don't need to wreck your records or drag out a reel-to-reel... and you are right, you never know if something backmasked could have a meaning in Swedish or Cantonese.

Reversal, n. An insufficient correction.

Doug: What does "reversal" sound like backwads?
