"Ulrich had remained in seminary while his father decided whether or not to convert the family. The closure of the seminary found the father still undecided and Ulrich remained in Marburg awaiting further instructions." LOL!!! In the 50's and 60's kids here learnt about dialectical metarialism on weekdays and were grabbed to the church by sneaky grandmothers on Sundays.

Ariel, I just saw a movie with Alec Guinness where he plays a priest in Budapest during socialism and the government conspires against him in the hope of winning back the grannies.

And how things change. Socialists still have a thing for grannies, and grannies are now in love with them, too.
