I almost cried with relief that it was not his stomach and guts, but holy crap... he would probably have chosen it to be his stomach and guts, had he been asked...
(John Lennon said that when Yoko was in hospital and sick because they gave her not the right blood, the doctor saw him at the bed and greeted him cheerfully and let him know he was a big fan of his, all this standing at the pregnant woman in agony.)

One thing I've learned these last years, fictional characters really suffer for their dialog. Playwrites are whimps.
