I listened the other day, but I don't think I left a comment...

I absolutely loved this - it's exactly my kind of spooky. We both were Twilight Zone fans I think. And I also loved The Outer Limits, Dark Shadows, Night Gallery, etc. I think all the kids who liked those shows are the ones out there blogging today.

Hey, Indie, you left a similar comment on Waking Ambrose but the two who usually leave comments here are both on vacation so I much appreciate the second pass. All great shows. Night Gallery has a special mystique to me because it was on later than I was allowed to stay up and off once I was old enough.

Oh, I love this. The perfect kind of creepy -- you don't see it coming. These days horror is a little too bloody and blatant for my liking.

I'm slow, and I'm still not sure if I figured this out: Neva was doing the killing and burials? But did she kill both Snuppy and the Animal Control guy?

I loved Night Gallery. We had no TV, but my super cool baby-sitter brought her tiny portable black and white and scared the bejesus out of me with it. Pansi thinks this explains a lot.

Thanks, Quilldancer and I agree. Horror is better without blood just like blashpehmy is better without cussing.

Weirsdo, that was the idea and yes. One evil child. We had not tv and the reason I'm only 90% anti-social instead of 100 is that as a child I needed friends to visit in order to see Night Gallery. Friends with early-to-bed parents.

Wow. I think you are the first person around my age or younger I have ever met (sort of) who also grew up without TV.
