Love, American Style

Story #29, in which we return to find Doug an exchange student in Germany.

To hear the story, find a bar and order a Veltin's.

To read the story, stagger down Biegenstraße.

That story is so funny Doug! Whenever I hear the word "romance", it reminds me of a postcard I recieved from a friend visiting NY, on which he wrote:

"New your simply Reeks of Romance, or perhaps it's the urine."

Nice slide show, thanks!

Glad you liked it, Squaregirl. That's a great line about New York.

I meant "New YORK simply Reeks of Romance..." not New your, but I'm pretty sure you got that...

yeah, I've always loved it, that's why I remember it...plus I kept the postcard in case I forget.

Good story. No wonder you can speak German.
I was in Germany for a music festival near Wurzburg in 1983, but mostly learned "Noch ein mal, geige und brache." (Hope I'm spelling that right, but you get the idea.)
